If you want to study philosophy and spirit, this study is not able to be strong without frugality. These frugalities are small means voluntary. You should take way such excuse, “I do not have enough money yet. If when I will have that enough, I will give my entire philosophy.” Now begin to study, no money.

看完這段還頗有感觸的。這觀念也同樣的深植在某些人的心中。像小夥伴說,當初他在念classic的時候,他的老師就不准他經營家族企業,就說一天到晚汲汲於營利,吃好的穿好的是念不出個屁來。我想,這樣的觀念或許有他的道裡在吧!有時候過於順遂的人生,也無法深刻的體會人生。花大把時間賺錢的人也沒時間念書。畢竟,人文這種東西需要花大量的時間閱讀、思考和累積。
這讓我想道以前大學的時候,哲學老師曾經說過,看你的人生要當痛苦的蘇格拉底還是快樂的豬。我想要當快樂的豬!!(不假思索)
